YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FIGURE THIS OUT ALONE.
College auditions come with a lot to manage. School lists, prescreens, deadlines, material, filming, interviews, callbacks, and constant decisions. When the process is unclear, even serious students can start to feel overwhelmed.
BUILT FOR COLLEGE BOUND PERFORMERS.
University Prep replaces guesswork with structure. We help students and families understand what matters, when it matters, and what to do next.

WHO IS IT FOR
This program is for students pursuing college training in Acting or Musical Theatre who are ready to work consistently, take feedback, and move through a serious process with support.

COLLEGE-BOUND PERFORMERS
High school actors and musical theatre performers preparing for the college audition process

COMMITTED STUDENTS
Students who are ready to train, take notes, and stay in the work

FAMILIES SEEKING CLARITY
Families who want steadier guidance on schools, cost, timeline, and fit
CLARIFY GOALS
We look at strengths, interests, and what kind of program makes sense.
BUILD YOUR SCHOOL LIST
We create a balanced list of schools that fits the student artistically, academically, and financially.
SELECT YOUR MATERIALS
We choose songs and monologues that show the student clearly and honestly.
Create strong prescreens
We coach and film material with care so students can submit work they feel good about.
Prepare for auditions
We help students know what to expect, how to adjust, and how to stay grounded in the room.
NAVIGATE DECISIONS
We help families make sense of offers, waitlists, and next steps.
HEY PARENTS, WE GOT YOU TOO.
This process should feel supported, not chaotic.
You do not have to become the coach, the strategist, and the emotional buffer all at once. University Prep gives your family an expert process, a clearer timeline, and a healthier role for everyone involved.
We work to keep coaching consistent, expectations clear, and communication grounded. Parents are part of the process, but the student’s growth, ownership, and preparation stay at the center.
Application, Task and school‑list support and guidance
Ongoing support for both students and parents. (Trust us, parents need support too)
When should we start?
The ideal time is before junior-year ends. For many students, that means junior year, when there is enough time to plan well and coach consistently.
Is this only for Musical Theatre students?
No. University Prep includes both Musical Theatre and Acting tracks
Do you help with academic applications?
We support artistic applications and auditions. For academic requirements (Common App, transcripts, test scores, merit aid), work with your school’s college counselor.
How many schools should I audition for?
We recommend 18-22 schools. Yes. You read that correctly. While that seems like a lot, musical theatre and acting programs are highly competitive and our goal is to ensure you have the best outcome!
